At All About You, i've always believed that a treatment should be about more than simply how your skin looks - it should be an experience that supports your skin, your wellbeing and gives you time to completely switch off.
That's why i'm so excited to introduce Inlight Beauty into the salon.
Born here in Cornwall, inlight is a luxury organic skincare brand where traditional botanical knowledge meets modern day science. Their beautiful formulations are handcrafted in small batches using carefully selected organic plant oils, herbs and botanicals.
And after visiting inlight HQ myself, learning more about how the products are made and experiencing them on my own skin, i knew this was the range i wanted to work with.
100% Organic - Without the Unnecessary Extras
Inlight takes a very different approach to conventional skincare.
Many of its formulations use 100% certified organic ingredients, with the products and production process certified organic by the Soil Association to COSMOS Organic standards.
Rather than filling formulations with water, inlight specialises in concentrated, oil-based skincare.
This means there is no need for the synthetic preservatives and emulsifiers commonly required in water-based formulations.
A little really does go a long way.

At the heart of inlight skincare is its patented Bio=Lipophilic Matrix
The formulations begin with organic cold-pressed plant oils selected for their affinity with the skin and their similarity to the skins own natural lipids and sebum.
The idea is to create formulations that work in harmony with the skins natural process while delivering botanical nutrients and supporting hydration, protection and healthy-looking skin.
Inlight has also evaluated its unique production process using hyperspectral imaging - technology which analyses reflected light across different wavelengths.
According to Inlight, this testing demonstrated measurable changes following application, including changes associated with luminosity, thermal activity and circulation.
Slow Beauty - Made Differently
One of the things i found fascinating when learning about Inlight was just how much care goes into making every formulation.
The botanicals undergo a slow infusion process lasting around 30 days in cold-press organic oils.
During this process, the preparations are exposed to natural sunlight and moonlight as part of Inlights production philosphy.
Inlight also incorporates elements including sound, colour and intention into its artisan production process - bringing together its scientific approach with a much more holistic philosophy of skincare.
It is skincare created slowly, consciously and with purpose.

Another reason i absolutely love this brand.
Inlight is a Cornish company, with its products made in its own purpose-built laboratory in Helston.
From botanical extraction and slow oil infusion through to hand filling and packaging, the production process is overseen in Cornwall.
The formulations are also produced using renewable energy, with sustainability considered throughout the manufacturing process.
For me, being able to offer my clients beautiful professional skincare that has been developed and produced here in Cornwall makes it even more special.
